    Does anyone else have experience and comments with salesforce.com – good or bad. We are implementing it next quarter and I have read a lot of conflicting opinions online about its’ usefulness for sales people. Also, what’s with the name – shouldnt it be crm.com or something?

    We use salesforce and have had it in for about 3 years. It is about as good as how much work you are prepared to put into it. Most of my team try to avoid it as much as possible so that usually means updating our pipeline (sometimes) and not much else.

    Hi Charles,

    My advice is to talk to a Salesforce Partner before you procure if you running down that path.
    Depending on the industry your in, Salesforce has a selection of clouds that are designed specifically for that type of business.

    Alternatively a bespoke Salesforce instance may be the way to go but will likely cost you a fair bit to get developed.

    Make a list of what features you want first. Salesforce is a fantastic platform and ultimately there isn’t much it can’t do!
